Built on the world's leading AI infrastructure

Inference Labs is architected to run natively on — and maximize consumption of — the AI services offered by the world's top cloud providers. As we scale, we drive significant API usage across every platform we support.

Foundation Model APIs

Production-grade large language model and multimodal model APIs from the world's leading cloud providers. Optimized for high-throughput consumption at scale.

Managed ML Infrastructure

Managed model endpoints, batch inference pipelines, and cloud-native ML infrastructure. Designed to maximize utilization of compute resources across providers.

Endpoints Batch Pipelines

Our platform is designed to grow usage across these ecosystems — not replace them.

Less waste. Better outputs. Full control.

Inference Labs sits between your application and the AI providers you've approved — adding policy, observability, and quality assurance without lock-in.

Smart Routing

Policy-driven model selection based on prompt metadata, task type, latency budget, and cost constraints. Allowlist only the models your team approves.

Cost Optimization

Caching, deduplication, and token-budget policies dramatically reduce wasted spend. Spend dashboards and per-workspace budget caps keep projects on track.

Quality Assurance

Automated eval packs run against every model in your allowlist. Track pass-rate trends, catch regressions before they ship, and build confidence in your stack.

Fine-Tune Insights

Compare base versus fine-tuned models across your real production distribution. Export JSONL preference pairs and SFT datasets directly from traces.

Two integrated capabilities

Inference Labs is built around two complementary engines that work together to reduce cost, improve quality, and generate the data you need to keep improving — all powered through cloud provider APIs at scale.

Router & Optimizer

Multi-Model Router

A single unified endpoint for text, image, and video generation that routes each request to the optimal provider — based on policies you define across your approved cloud providers.

  • Allowlist & denylist models per workspace
  • Routing strategies: cheap-first, quality-first, latency-first
  • Semantic caching and request deduplication
  • Automatic failover and configurable retries
  • Per-workspace spend caps and budget alerts
  • Native integration with leading cloud AI provider APIs
Data Refiner

Production Data Refiner

Capture every trace — prompts, parameters, outputs, cost, and latency — then automatically refine that data into evaluation suites and training datasets.

  • Collect traces: prompts, parameters, outputs, cost & latency
  • PII & secrets redaction before storage or export
  • Deduplication, labeling, and quality scoring
  • Export JSONL SFT pairs, preference pairs & eval sets
  • Benchmarking packs: compare base vs. fine-tuned models
  • Configurable retention policies & human review workflows

Five steps from request to improvement

Inference Labs fits into your existing stack via a single API endpoint. Each request flows through the platform and feeds back into a continuous improvement loop.

  1. Connect

Point your app at the unified endpoint. Configure your approved cloud providers.

  2. Route

Each request is matched to the best available model per your policies.

  3. Measure

Traces are captured: latency, cost, tokens, output quality signals.

  4. Refine

Raw logs are cleaned, deduplicated, redacted, and structured.

  5. Improve

Export eval suites and fine-tune datasets. Run benchmarks. Iterate.

Designed for enterprise trust

Inference Labs is built with data governance, workspace isolation, and auditability as first-class concerns — not afterthoughts.

Encryption in Transit & at Rest

All data is encrypted over TLS 1.3 in transit. Storage-level encryption designed for compliance with industry standards.

Workspace Isolation

Each workspace has isolated credentials, model allowlists, trace storage, and billing. No cross-workspace data leakage by design.

Audit Logs

Immutable, timestamped audit trails for every routing decision, model call, and configuration change. Exportable for compliance reporting.

PII & Secrets Redaction

Configurable redaction pipeline removes PII, credentials, and sensitive patterns from traces before storage — reducing data handling risk.

Data Retention Controls

Set per-workspace retention windows. Automatically purge traces after defined periods. Zero-retention mode available for sensitive workloads.

Human Review Workflows Roadmap

Label traces and review outputs through a structured human-in-the-loop interface. Flag outputs for quality assessment before inclusion in training sets.

IP Allowlisting & Rate Controls

Restrict API access to approved IP ranges and enforce per-key rate limits. Protect workspaces from unauthorized use and runaway consumption.

SOC 2 Compliance Readiness Roadmap

Infrastructure and processes designed with SOC 2 Type II readiness in mind. Full audit trail, access control, and incident response policies in place.

Common questions

No. Inference Labs does not train, host, or serve AI models. We orchestrate and evaluate the models you have already approved through cloud provider APIs. You control which providers and models are enabled for each workspace.
No. Our routing reduces waste (redundant calls, suboptimal model selection, cache misses) and improves reliability — which enables more sustainable, higher-quality usage of the providers you already rely on. The goal is fewer failed requests and better ROI from your existing cloud provider spend, not migration away from any provider.
Storage is configurable. You can enable trace collection with configurable retention windows, or run in zero-retention mode. The redaction pipeline strips PII and secrets before any data is persisted. You own your traces — they are never shared with other customers or used to train shared models.
We handle dataset preparation and evaluation. Our Data Refiner exports structured JSONL files — SFT pairs, preference pairs, and eval sets — ready to hand off to your fine-tuning pipeline or a cloud provider fine-tuning service. Managed fine-tuning integrations with leading cloud providers are on our roadmap.
Direct model calls give you no observability, no policy enforcement, and no data pipeline. Inference Labs adds: (1) cost intelligence — routing to cheaper models when quality requirements allow; (2) reliability — failover and retry across your approved model set; (3) governance — budget caps, allowlists, audit trails; (4) quality loops — eval suites built from your actual production distribution, not synthetic benchmarks.
1 credit = 1 action. Every routed request — text, image, or video — costs exactly one credit, as does each eval decision (one prompt scored against one model) and each dataset export. There is no token-based metering and no per-model multiplier, so your bill is exactly proportional to how much you use the router.
The platform is designed for multimodal workloads: text generation, image generation, and video generation. Text is fully supported today. Image and video routing are in active development. All modalities share the same workspace, policy, and tracing infrastructure.
No. Inference Labs is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially partnered with any AI provider or cloud platform. We integrate with cloud provider APIs through standard documented interfaces to deliver an orchestration and optimization layer on top.

Building the infrastructure layer for responsible AI

"AI adoption stalls when teams can't measure what they're getting, can't control what they're spending, and can't trust the outputs they're shipping. We exist to fix that."
